SAMBHAB is a registered voluntary organization
being registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860
bearing the registration No. 21132/271 of 2000 – 2001. The
organization is located at M.I.G - 1-17/2, B.D.A Colony,
Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.SAMBHAB made its humble
begining in the year 1999 with a noble mission to concentrate on
environmental protection for the betterment of the society as a
whole. The Organisation also focuses on the activities related to
the welfare of the women and children of the scheduled caste and
scheduled tribes as well as minor communities of the society. To
achieve this, Our efforts are completely devoted to help and uplift
the downtrodden and to proceed towards the fulfillment of our
target.
The organization operates as a social action group oriented towards
sustainable development and appropriate changes in the rural sectors
and slum areas through educational and social intervention
programmers. Life is neither beautiful nor enjoyable for a man
deprived of basic needs. Many people in the rural area lead
miserable life owing to poor social and economic status. The period
of adolescence is the most crucial period for a child. It is the
period during which the body and the mind takes shape when the child
learns to face the difficulties of life and enters into the youth.
So it is true that a good environment and society with care is
needed for them when a positive stimulation at present and the care
can help them become healthy and responsible citizens of our
society.
INNOVATIVE :
a) An avenue not alone for literacy but social analysis and experiments
on community participation.
b) Historical and social analysis of the poor class identity and
collection of traditional poor class folk-Iores, crafts and arts,
musical instruments, weapons and medicines.
c) Opportunity for self- expression of the students through song, dance,
playing acting, drawing sports and games etc.
d) Child to child development.
e) Preparation of a value based locally suitable curriculum.
f) Preparation of suitable teaching aids.
g) Income generating activities which would ensure the participation of
the community and some steady income for the school.
h) Teacher as a companion of the community and activist for social
changes.
